Single mothers often carry the responsibility of raising a family while keeping household finances afloat. Every day’s decision can mean balancing immediate needs with hopes for a better future. That reality inspired Allianz PNB Life to create MaPanatag, a program that gives single mothers access to protection, wellness support, and opportunities to strengthen their financial future.
The initiative recently earned the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Initiative of the Year award at the 2026 Insurance Asia Awards in Singapore. The recognition celebrates organizations whose programs create meaningful social impact while promoting responsible business practices.
“Through MaPanatag, we sought to address the realities faced by millions of single mothers in the Philippines by giving them the support and confidence to build a more secure future for themselves and their families. We share this award with all of them for pushing us to create solutions with purpose and meaningful impact,” said Rozanne Magararu, Chief of Staff and Chief Marketing Officer of Allianz PNB Life.
At the center of the program is Allianz PNB Life’s eAZY Health insurance product, which offers life and health protection tailored to the needs of single mothers. It also includes HerBox, a health and wellness ecosystem powered by Allianz HealthBox.
Members receive benefits worth up to ₱2,000 in the first year and ₱1,000 in the succeeding years, along with perks and discounts from partner brands that can help ease everyday expenses. MaPanatag also opens doors to financial independence by giving qualified participants the opportunity to join Allianz PNB Life’s distribution force, allowing them to earn additional income while supporting their families and communities.
“We believe that true inclusion means creating solutions that serve the diverse realities of the people around us. We remain committed to developing more initiatives that help Filipinos from all walks of life achieve a more secure future,” Magararu said.
