JT’s Manukan Grille is proving that a simple meal can go beyond satisfying hunger. Through its JT’s Meals for the Kids campaign, every serving of inasal enjoyed by customers helps provide nutritious meals to children through the World Food Programme.
The campaign recently brought JT’s Manukan Grille founder and CEO Joel Torre to Cauayan, Isabela, where he joined the World Food Programme in visiting a school feeding program. The visit offered a closer look at how regular school meals help young learners stay nourished, focus in class, and continue their education while also creating opportunities for local farmers who help supply the program.
The team also joined the flag ceremony at Cauayan North Central School, where students welcomed them with performances by the school’s Drum and Lyre Corps and Majorettes. The visit gave Torre and the team an opportunity to witness not only the impact of the feeding program but also the pride, discipline, and talent of the students. They were also warmly welcomed by teachers and members of the Cauayan community, making the visit even more meaningful.
The campaign is built on a simple idea. Every meal ordered at JT’s Manukan Grille helps feed a child’s tomorrow. Every contribution through the JT’s Meals for the Kids #ShareTheMeal campaign supports children and families who need nutritious food the most.
Helping fight hunger does not always require grand gestures. Supporting initiatives like this or finding other ways to give back can help ensure that more children have the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
